2018

Unter dem Dach des Liechtensteiner Leichtathletikverbandes LLV organisiert ein unabhängiges OK die zweite Austragung der “Championship of the Small States of Europe” in Liechtenstein. Zum ersten Mal in der LA-Geschichte Liechtensteins sind gleichzeitig der Präsident des Internationalen Leichtathletikverbandes IAAF — Sebastian Coe — sowie der Präsident des europäischen Leichtathletikverbandes EA — Svein Arne Hansen — zu Gast im Ländle. ​

2013

MEMBERSHIP- Liechtenstein, LIE
The Congress unanimously applauded in support of the newy formed Federation in Liechtenstein that would replace the form er National Federation. Therefore, the IAAF’ s Membership remains at 212 National Federations.
Member President, Rene Michlig, thanked the European Athletics Association and the Members of the IAAF Council for their support and the IAAF Congress for its vote of confidence. He wished the Athletics Family the best of luck for the World Championships.

2012

Es beginnt eine neue Ära in der Geschichte der Liechtensteiner Leichtathletik – die Leichtathleten unter einem Dachverband. Der Liechtensteiner Leichtathletikverband LLV wird zum neuen Fachverband der Liechtensteiner Leichtathletik. Folgende Vereine sind Mitglieder beim LLV: TV Eschen-Mauren, LC Schaan, TV Schaan, TV Triesen und LC Vaduz.

Die GSSE finden zum zweiten Mal in Liechtenstein statt, die LieGames 2011.
